More than 14 years internal communications experience with expertise in strategy and planning, leadership communications, line manager training, change management, editorial and speech writing, corporate intranet development, and channel and brand management.  These are my skills.  Industries include oil and gas, technology, hotels, tourism and television broadcasting in Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Australasia. This is my experience.

Experience includes Global Internal Communications Manager for Shell International, responsible for the development and management of CEO communications to 110,000 employees and 50,000 contractors globally.  Working with business and functional communication leads to develop, co-ordinate, align and execute strategies and activities globally.  Additionally, train and coach a global network of communication managers to deliver communication skills training for senior leaders and line managers.

Further international experience includes Communications Manager for Burj Al Arab, the world’s only seven star hotel, responsible for both internal and external communications, with a large focus on media relations, PR and marketing activities in the markets of the UK, Europe, Russia and the US.  Additional international experience gained with the Australian host television broadcaster of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, with responsibility for both internal and external communications.

To understand the world of communication, you need many years on the job, in different organisations, and in many diverse countries. Of course, formal qualifications are equally important to provide the platform for creating memorable communication and innovative designs. Below are my qualifications.
